Sport Hostel Figueira da Foz
In addition to super-comfy beds, clean and safe environment, welcoming hosts and perfect location to explore Figueira da Foz, you can make use of our Steam room and Massage services for a small additional fee.
In keeping with our healthy and safe outlook on life, we do not allow smoking anywhere in the building and we ask that you don’t stay out all night or bring back new friends (!)
Oh and we throw in free use of the washing machine, free wifi, use of the kitchen with cooker and fridge (we provide you with sealed containers), and we even throw in (not literally) a free towel when you arrive. You must promise to throw it back to us when you leave 🙂

COVID-19
As part of our response to the Covid 19 pandemic, we have in place procedures to help ensure your safety and effective use of your time with us. If you have any questions about these or any other aspects of Covid suppression measure please do just ask.
General
- All services will be adhering to the Portuguese ‘safe and clean’ initiative to ensure Covid-suppression practices are in place. Hand sanitizer will be provided at all locations and masks are used extensively and diligently by the general population.
- The area where you will be staying and training is amongst the lowest affected in Portugal by the pandemic and Portugal in general has been one of the least affected countries in Europe to date.
- Card/contactless payments should be used where possible when making purchases in general to avoid handling cash
- Anyone displaying symptoms of Covid19/being in contact with anyone who has tested positive for Covid19 will have to go into self-isolation. GoFigueira will try to help but the client remains responsible for costs of accommodation and their return to their home place at the allowed time and any other associated costs.
- Everyone must respect personal space and heed instruction/direction by staff when reminded of the rules
- Showers to be taken regularly with soap and use of hand sanitizers in between a must.
Accommodation
- Accommodation will be in shared rooms, but however will allow social distancing.
- Air purifiers will be utilised in common areas which will also be sanitised between meals and at various times during the day
- On check-in guests will need to be temperature checked & use hand sanitisation.
- Face coverings must be worn to enter any public building and taken off when necessary such as for sport or eating or sleep etc
- When entering the accommodation please shower promptly -and change to clean clothing not used outside the accommodation
- Surface wipes will be provided to wipe chairs etc, and regular cleaning is also being undertaken by the staff
- All our magazines have been removed and we do not permit magazines/newspapers etc. to be brought in from outside
- No food to be brought in from outside or consumed on our premises.
- Regular cleaning to be undertaken throughout the facilities and may also become “out of service” temporarily for cleaning if necessary
